This module is designed to scrape a designated user's DVD Profiler profile and grab all the associated movie UPC symbols. This can be quickly tied in with the Net::Amazon::DVD2IMDB module to get the resulting IMDB movie information.
This module can also be found on my CPAN page.

This application scrapes the excellent anonymous proxy list available at Proxy 4 Free (I use to use Stay Invisible), filters them, and renders them appropriately for most applications. For example, the SwitchProxy extension to Firefox plays nicely with this.
I've made a copy of the program available for all to use, to which the query string options are:
- c = County - The country by which you want to filter the proxies by, defaults to 'United States'.
- t = Type - The type of proxies that you want, leave blank for all. Defaults to 'anon'.
Updated 2005-02-10: Requests are now cached daily. I was afraid that too many requests might upset the server owners, whom provide such an excellent service.
Updated 2005-11-16: Stay Invisible removed their free proxy lists, so I'm now using a different service that seems comparable.

A web-based UML modeling program that my team wrote for the 4th Red Bull Programming competition. We weren't able to complete all that much of it, but we did get creation of classes, links, drawing, signups, logins, and parameter creation finished. At some point it may be fun to sit down and modify what we wrote and get it fully operational and possibly release it.

A bug existed in XML::RSS version 1.05 that would only allow a single instance of a 'category' element within a Channel or Item element, which is not in accordance with the specification. I resolved it with a simple patch.

There was a post the other day to Boing Boing concerning the fact that Ken Lay is paying to have links to his defense placed on Google and Yahoo. A friend of mine wrote a brief example of how to automatically click the links using Perl and I thought I could probably do better. Below is my attempt at it - uses a proper User Agent, proper referrers and bounces through multiple, anonymous, proxies to get the job done. Thank goodness for WWW::Mechanize.

This application is for CSH members to post their resumes and look for jobs from the CSH newsgroup. Essentially, this is a quickly design application that allow members to easily communicate their needs to one another. (And allows those who do not have immediate access to a newsgroup reader to view the information too.)

This project is designed to be able to provide avid readers of RSS feeds with the ability to quickly seperate high-quality (interesting) articles from the rest of the content.
Currently, methods of filtering utilizing the Naive Bayes method of categorization are being tested for applicability.
